More than 100 patients and donors gathered at the Waldorf Astoria New York hotel on Tuesday, April 28, to learn how the Mount Sinai Health System is improving prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment through a unique, multidisciplinary approach and state-of-the-art technology.

Precision Urology™ is a program designed by renowned robotic prostate cancer surgeon Ash K. Tewari, MBBS, MCh, Professor, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and Kyung Hyun Kim, MD, Chair, Urology, Mount Sinai Health System. The program provides a patient-centric, personalized diagnostic approach while minimizing side effects of treatment. Mount Sinai faculty spoke on a panel with Dr. Tewari about how the program seamlessly integrates surgical, immunotherapeutic, genetics, and advanced cancer disciplines to optimize patient outcomes. Max Gomez, PhD, of WCBS-TV, moderated the event; and Don Garber, Commissioner, Major League Soccer, and CEO, Soccer United Marketing, provided keynote remarks.
