Attendees of the fifth annual Emergency Nurses Week Celebration
The Mount Sinai Department of Emergency Medicine recently hosted the fifth annual Emergency Nurses Week Celebration. The ceremony recognized awardees across six categories and graduates of the ED RN Fellowship from all Mount Sinai Health System emergency departments. Awardees, graduates, and their families gathered to celebrate.
At Mount Sinai, there are more than 700 emergency department nursing team members who deliver compassionate care to patients across the New York City region. Mount Sinai Emergency Nursing shows excellence through education, research, community engagement, clinical operations, and regional and national advocacy. Notably, in 2025, Mount Sinai reached a remarkable milestone when every emergency department across the Health System held an Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) Lantern Award simultaneously. The ENA Lantern Awards recognize the dedication, skill, and compassion of our emergency nurses. Learn more about Lantern Awards.
